  1. Make sure you know where all your classrooms are before the first day of class. The campus is big and can be confusing.
  2. Most professors offer extra credit if you reason with them and this could be the difference between a letter grade.
  3. Take advantage of the terrific career counselling resources
  4. If you want to be a part of greek life, try rushing during a semester that has an easier academic workload because it is extremely time consuming.
  5. The 3rd street suites and 1st street towers are probably the nicest dorms but not the best move for a freshman because they are pretty isolated.

  1. You can take classes at the Rose Hill campus and Lincoln centre campus, simultaneously.
  2. There is a shuttle called the ‘Ram Van’ that takes you from the Rose Hill campus to the Lincoln centre campus
  3. Try and find a library space early during midterms or finals because they fill up very quickly!
  4. The Student Activities office has free but limited New York Times copies everyday.
  5. The dorms have extremely strict rules on signing in guests and there is a lot of affordable off-campus living in the Bronx
